Logging Wage Survey Report
Vermont, along with New Hampshire and New York, participated in Maine's Northeast Regional Woods Wage Survey in the fall of 2019 to determine prevailing wages paid to pulpwood/logging workers.

    Guidelines are issued by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for administrative purposes. Includes an explaination of Thresholds and Guidelines.

Livable Wage

    The Vermont Joint Fiscal Office annually prepares a Basic Needs Budgets and Minimum Wage Report. Each Report contains "Liviable Wages" for six possible family configurations in urban or rural areas with moderate or low cost food plan options.

Minimum Wage Increases to $13.67 for 2024.
Beginning January 1, 2024, Vermont’s minimum wage will become $13.67 per hour. This is an increase of $0.49 from the current minimum wage of $13.18.
