U.I. Covered Employment & Wages (QCEW)
Annual Averages
Naics based
Covered Employment and Wages is a product of the Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages (QCEW) program, previously know as ES-202. Industry data is based on the North American Industry Coding System (NAICS) and is fundamentally different from the Standard Industrial Coding (SIC) system used previously on this web site. You should NOT LINK employment data published previously under the SIC system with the employment published now based on NAICS. Data by SIC has been eliminated for this program.
For definitions of terms and how to use and interpret this information, refer to Explanation of Terms PDF .
Read all about Naics or QCEW at U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
